I am a bilingual, LA-based social justice educator. I earned my training from UCLA's Teacher Education Program where I received my multiple subject teaching credential and a Bilingual Authorization (Spanish). I student taught in a dual language Spanish 4th grade classroom as well as a dual language Spanish Kindergarten classroom. I will be getting my Masters in June 2019 from the same program. I was born and raised in Santa Ana, California where I attended public school through the Santa Ana Unified School District. Upon graduating high school, I attended UCLA for my Bachelors degree in English Literature. After earning my B.A. I began a career as a preschool teacher where I taught children ranging in ages from 6 months to 5 years old. Working with children has and continues to be a a passion of mine. Outside of the classroom I enjoy film, television, and theater as well as enjoying time with family and friends. I am an avid theme park goer and I enjoy reading works of fiction. I very recently got my first kitten, Oliver! |
